Coffee Talk : I (don’t) Workout

I have posted before about working out, trying to workout and workout clothes. Well, I have yet to really get into and stick to a routine. In a survey I posted a few weeks ago someone suggested I post about workout tips. Well, I don’t think I am qualified to give people advice on working out since I am currently in a a bitter relationship with the gym.

However, after looking at my calendar and realizing I will be wearing a bikini in just over a month I have am making the decision to try and mend our relationship. In the past we have really done great, seeing each other nearly 5 or 6 times a week, spending at minimum of an hour together. Sometimes we will even change up our date with a class or a new routine. My goal is to work up to 4/5 times a week by March 4th-two weeks from today (this is a very ambitious goal for me…)

Contrary to popular belief of my college friends, I was very athletic in high school, so my hope is that it will kick back in when I step foot in the gym today. The best way for me to think about it is our pre-pre season soccer camp that my team did. It was a boot camp that whipped us into shape faster than you can imagine. It was painful, but at the end of the week you always felt so much better (and really sore.)

So I have made all these goals, but now I need some motivation. Part of my motivation is writing this post because now all of you will be aware of this and it will make me feel as though I am under pressure to come through. Next, I will probably hang a tiny-bikini in my closet so every time I see it I am reminded that I will be putting it on in just a few short weeks. Third, pinterest. Pinterest of course has a ton of great motivation for working out. I have added a few favorites that I may print out and put around my room to the bottom.

What is your goal for the next two months? Fitness? Patience? Eating right? Let me know!
