Dermelect Polish Review

One of the perks of being in a sorority and having a blog is that when some of our sisters turn to the dark side  become alumni, they go off and get fabulous jobs, but keep you in mind for great opportunities. Well I was lucky enough to have one of my sisters contact me about doing a review for a new company she has been working with.

The company is Dermelect Cosmeceuticals. I was given the opportunity to pick one of the colors from the resort collection of nail polish.

There were three fun colors to pick from, however, I could not turn down a chance to add a new coral pink color to my collection. My favorite part about this nail polish was that it seemed to make my nails stronger. I did three coats to get a really bright hue, but I also liked the slightly muted look of two coats.

The polish gives a really high shine look, which I am a big fan of. Another great feature is that the product is cruelty free, so no testing on animals.

The polishes are all infused with peptides to help strengthen weak and brittle nails. I did find that it was slightly less prone to chipping. Honestly though, with all the things I do, my nails rarely last a day without chipping no matter how great the polish or top coat is. It is also, DBP, toulene and formaldehyde free.

Here two more colors I love from their current line:
