As long as I can remember, my jewelry style has two extremes. I’m either wearing the same favorite pieces of dainty jewelry that gets put on as if it’s my uniform or I’m wearing a large pair of statement earrings. Other then that, there’s not much wiggle room in my day-to-day looks. And when it comes to earrings for everyday wear, I’m especially stuck. My ears tend to be sensitive so if I’m wearing something for more than 2-3 hours it has to be fine jewelry, which means I’m not usually purchasing new pieces because they tend to be much more expensive than what I’m willing to spend for a jewelry refresh.
There are a few places though that I’ve discovered that meet the balance of reasonably priced and amazing quality. Recently, I’ve added some beauties from here to my daily jewelry looks. The mini gold bar earrings are perfect for everyday- I can wear them while I’m shooting without having them get caught in my hair or hurt throughout the day. They are my new go-to studs. I have them in rose gold to match a rose gold and ruby band I received for Christmas from my dog, Ruby (thanks to my husband for taking her shopping!) It was one of the few rose gold pieces I owned so having a simple pair of earrings to match is a huge bonus.
The band trend is also one I love, but fine jewelry bands are pricey, my favorite place to buy is actually here. They are direct to consumer with their pricing so the bands are about half the cost of most other places. It’s where we ended up selecting my wedding band from and it fits perfectly with the engagement ring Eric picked out for me.
For a splurge I’d recommend here. I’ve been obsessed with her designs for a few years now, everything from her rings to earrings is just stunning. I’ve included pieces from the collections many times over the years in my gift guides and round-ups.
