After a much too long hiatus from the blog, we’re finally back to a more regular schedule! Recently, I made some big changes in my career, it’s something I had been working towards for the past year and finally last week I was able to make the transition. What is that transition? Working for myself, full-time. My actual job (photographer and art director) won’t change as I absolutely love what I do.
It’s certainly a very exciting road, and while there are many unknowns, I could not be more happy with the changes that will follow. It has been a stressful past few months and while I certainly don’t see the stress lifting anytime soon, I do see it being more manageable and if nothing else, finally being able to have it be on my schedule.
Last month Eric and I visited Monterey and Carmel, California for a friends wedding and we both fell in love with the area almost immediately. We stayed in Monterey but spent much of our time in Carmel, including a hike at Point Lobos, which we cannot recommend enough for anyone in the area.
Next week we head off for some more traveling, so be sure to keep up on instagram for all of our adventures. xx
