Summer is filled with so many occasions to dress up for, between brunches, bridal showers, cookouts, summer date nights and long weekends it’s necessary to have pieces that can be accessorized differently to make new outfits for each. This dress is a great example of a versatile piece for your summer wardrobe. For the first outfit, I kept it all about the dress since the print is so bold. I paired it with tan heeled sandals and an arm party to give it a little interest. For me, this is perfect for heading out with the girls or for date night with your significant other.
For the second styling, I brought out my favorite denim jacket and an older pair of heels that complimented the colors perfectly. I wanted this to feel a little more casual so it could be worn to a day party. The jacket tones down the dress without taking away from the shape and print.
Another great way to style this dress is to add a menswear styled button down on top. Take the bottom and tie the ends together around your natural waist and button a few bottom buttons. It will keep the bottom of the dress showing like a pencil skirt and the top will just be a peak of print through the shirt. Finish the look off with some sneakers and a pony tail for an easy day-time look.
