I spotted these grey booties and absolutely had to build a mod inspired outfit around them. I knew I wanted to keep it very mod, and decided an a-line dress would be the best solution. This blue suede dress is a perfect option. It’s fitted without being skin tight, but the heavier suede material makes it perfect for Fall’s cooler days. The bag you last saw here– it holds a surprising amount for it’s size. It ends up being my go-to bag all weekend long. The bag is perfect for Fall, especially with all of the 60’s and 70’s trends going on. Beyond the a-line dress and booties, there’s a lot more ways to do a mod inspired look.
A new platform, Piccing, is perfect for finding inspiration and being able to recreate the look. It’s a visually-driven social platform that allows users to create a free account. From here, users can upload their own pictures or search through hundreds of thousands already there. Each picture gets “piccs”, which are little green marks to allow users to shop the image. You can take a look at my account here. Piccing’s blog is also a great resource to learn more about the platform.
There are already over 83 million users (super impressive!) and it’s quickly growing. This means tons more inspiration and content for you. On your profile, you can share your favorite images to go back later when you’re in need for some outfit inspiration.
Dress: Asos, Shoes: Sam Edelman (also love these), Bag: Gucci, Bracelet: David Yurman
The picture above shows those green marks I mentioned earlier. They “cherry pic” items to make it easy for you to get the same look. Have you already used Piccing? I’d love to hear what you think and how your experiences with the new platform have been.
