While on Easter break in South Carolina, we visited the Myrtle Beach Safari’s Tiger Preservation Station. It was a beyond magical experience that I can barely even put into words. The work that they do here to help animals is just amazing and all of the animals live such happy and healthy lives. It was truly life changing and all I want to do is go back! I had all I could do at the and of the tour to not say “Sign me up- I want to do this for the rest of my life!” Here are just a few of the hundreds of moments with these beautiful animals! Enjoy- and make sure if you’re in the area, you make a visit here a TOP priority!
4 month old Tiger
Bubbles the Elephant! Rescued after her family was killed by poachers and is the happiest elephant I’ve ever seen! P.s. this means I’m crossing off something on my 101 in 1001 list!
Beautiful 1 month old Liger cub
Orangutans love to hang and hold hands (well, your hands with their feet…)
922 lb. Liger (he may be all grown up, but he still loves his milk!)
The experience with these beautiful animals was just amazing, and these photos don’t even begin to tell you all of the amazing interactions we were able to hang with these animals! We had baby tiger cubs crawling all over us, saw tigers running at top speed- completely uncaged! The only way I can explain it is that you have to experience it.
