Investing in a good set of brushes to do your make-up is crucial. However, so is the maintenance of them. If your brushes aren’t clean you could be putting dirt and bacteria on with your make-up, as well as mixing it in with each swirl in the powered. Cleaning them doesn’t take much time and is very easy. This is how I clean mine…
{Pre-clean}
I use a little bit on antibacterial soap and warm water, I have also used a cleanser meant for brushes, but I find that it doesn’t clean them any better. Once you have the soap on, gently swirl the brush in the palm of your hand, you will see the color change. Rinse out your brush and repeat this until the water no longer changes color when rinsed.

For your foundation brush, it could take a bit more work then brushes you use for powder, be patient. Don’t forget to clean your eye make-up brushes, they get dirty too!

Let the brushes air dry only! Also, try and reshape them to dry. I leave mine overnight and “fluff” they in the morning. And that’s it, you’re done and your brushes are clean!
Here are some good, quality make-up brushes & sets that will stay with you for YEARS! (I am serious, good brushes last so much longer and work so much better, it truly is a good investment).
