I’ve always been a beauty product junkie and love testing out new products and beauty tools. However, there are few that stick around for the long term. These are 3 that I absolutely cannot live without- even traveling, they come with me at all times.
The first is Artis make-up brushes– both my mom and I swear by them! If you use liquid foundation, creamy blush sticks, or concealer you absolutely need them. The finish they provide on your skin is one that I haven’t been able to match with any other application method. I was gifted them about 6-months ago but they have truly become my number 1 make-up brush brand. My most-used brushes are the Palm Brush, the Oval number 6 and Oval number 4.
Next up is this little gadget. I’ve been using it to clean my make-up brushes- from my big fluffy powder brush, to Artis brushes and everything in between. I used to just swirl them around in my hand with some anti-bacterial soap, and while I still do that a few times, adding this into my routine was a game-changer. Honestly, I’m kind of grossed-out thinking back to all the years I was probably using dirty brushes on my skin. I purchased a 2-pack on Amazon, I’ve only used one but will be putting the second at my moms house for when I visit. They’re inexpensive and help make pricier make-up brushes last longer.
Finally a tool we all probably use- tweezers! I’ve always loved Tweezerman tweezers. Recently, I tried a different pair and they made me realize how much the Tweezerman ones mean to me. I couldn’t pluck a single thing with this generic brand I was using, I’ve had my current Tweezerman ones for about 5 years (purchased at a drug-store) and kept the little plastic cover on them at all times when I wasn’t using them- up until I lost it about 9 months ago and they’re still in perfect condition. I cannot recommend them enough, if you ever thought tweezers sucked, you just weren’t using a good pair.
